Storm's house

Storm stared out the window of her house, one hand restlesly twirling a lock of her bright hair.Her other had was in a tight fist, clenching and unclenching. Something was wrong. She stopped clenching her fist and brought her hand up to look at her perfect fingernails. Recently painted a shiny black, they looked smooth. Storm wondered if there was more to it than that. and Why this nagging feeling wouldn't go away. She frowned. She would not be able to rest until she knew.

Sara flies to the front door and knocks gently. "anybody home?' she asked even though she could hear Storm's footsteps. Sara waited patiently for Storm to answer

~~do Sara and Storm know each other?~~

Storm took her time going to the door. Her hand returned to clenching and unclenching.
She opened the door.
"Can I help you?" She asked politely, trying to keep the strain out of her voice.

"Hi, I'm Sara. I just moved here and I wanted to meet some of the people of forks. Sorry if I frightened you. I live in a cabin out in the forest."

Storm snorted. "Good luck scarring me." She said dryly.
"I'm Storm. I'm...not so new." It suddenly clicked to Storm that she was talking to someone who might turn out to be a friend. Suddenly her dreary mood was gone and she was back to herself, very happy.
"Want to come in? I don't know many people."

"sure! I'd love to!" Sara walked inside the house.

"Great." Storm smiled.
"So, You been a vampire long?"

"only 6 years, but I don't mind being a vampire anymore. How bout you?"

Storm was shocked. She shouldn't be surprised that some people havent been vampires long. She smiled at Sara and offered her a seat on one of the large chairs. "About five centuries. Maybe a little more. Can i offer you a drink?" She asked sarcastically, then laughed.

Sara sat down in one of the chairs. "No thank you." she laughed. "I have been trying to find my sister, but I don't know what happened to her. She is still human I think."

"Really? That's...sad." Storm didn't know how it was. She wished her family was still human... Her mom's vicious face came into view. Her eyes bright red and her gait was more catlike than Storm's. Her clothes were perfect, giving no hint of her nature. And she was after Storm...
Storm cleared her mind and focused on Sara. "When did you last see her?"

"when I went camping with her. It was the middle of the night and a vampire attacked me while she was asleep." she began to looks sad, but immediately put a small smile back on her face so storm wouldn't feel bad for bringing it up.

"I'm not sorry about bringing it up." Storm said calmly, answering Sara's thoughts. Storm laughed. The laugh had a bit of hysteria in it. "I can read thoughts." Storm explained when she stopped laughing. "You can't hide anything from me. It will always be in the back of you mind." Storm wiggled her fingers in front of her face and laughed again. This laugh was normal, with no sign of hysteria in it.

That made Sara remember the first time she had met a vampire who could read her mind. It was like she didn't even have to say anything. "I can't read minds, but I can transform into any object I would like." A salt shaker appears on the chair she was sitting on and then it was Sara again. "see."

"Cool!!" exclaimed Storm. "I wish i could so that..." she sighed dreamily.

"so that.. what?" Sara asked curiously.

"What?" Storm's face was the picture of pure innocence.

*laughs* "you're good at looking innocent. I could never do that," she said.

Storm grinned and flipped a strand of bright orange hair back. "I have lots of practice.* She said angelically. " But I'm just having...'family problems'" She made air quotes as she said 'family problems.' "If you will" Storm finished.

"sure I understand I have problems of my own," She said. Then she pictured her sister in the tent when she was being pulled away by a vampire. She stopped herself from thinking about it any more. Then she remembered that storm could read her mind.

Storm smiled when she saw the very clear picture in Sara's head. "It's ok to think about it you know." She stretched luciously. "Well! I'm starving. Want to go hunting?"

"Sure that sounds like fun," she said smiling.

"lets go!!" Storm ran to her ferrari, jumping in the driver's seat. "Come on!!"

*gets in the passenger seat rather quickly* "step on it," she says smiling.

"WOOO!" Storm screams as they quickly back out of the driveway. by the time they'd hit the road the car was already at at 80. "Let's go see what forks has to offer!" Storm laughed joyously.
