The meadow

Gemma paced in the trees. She had FINALLY made it...finally escaped from the Asylum. It had taken her all night to hike to this little valley, or meadow, whatever it was.
Gemma sat down on a fallen tree log. "I need a place to sleep..." she murmured to herself. Gemma pulled a roughly textured blanket from her small knapsack and spread it on the driest patch of ground she could find inside the trees, next to a small boulder.
